What moved this week

Twenty US streaming services are crawled from TMDB every day. When a title leaves one, this page checks the other nineteen. Most of the time it has not vanished: the license changed hands, and the show is somewhere else now.

766
left a service, still streaming
60 arrived on their new service this same week
329
left, on none of the twenty
2,101
arrivals across all services
1,100
departures across all services

Where titles went

Handoffs: a title left the service on the left and arrived on the one on the right inside this week. Select a row to see the titles.

Take the data

This week as a spreadsheet: moved.csv. In Google Sheets, one formula keeps it live:

=IMPORTDATA("https://www.jakelawrence.xyz/api/watch/moved.csv")

A single service's full catalog works the same way, for example catalog.csv?provider=netflix.

How this is counted

  • The week ends on the latest day in the change log, Oct 10, not on today.
  • A title that left and came back to the same service inside the week is not counted as moved.
  • It cannot tell you what is about to leave. Services do not publish departure dates in any form a crawl can read, so there is no countdown here.
  • Every catalog is within its crawl schedule.
