Privacy & cookies

This is a small personal site, and it stores small, honest things. Here's the complete list of what sets a cookie in your browser here, and how to control it.

Strictly necessary

Three cookies keep the site's logged-out and logged-in features working. None carry tracking data, and none are optional — each exists only to make one specific feature work:

  • A session cookie from NextAuth (this site's sign-in system), so you stay logged in on the surfaces that need an account: the games console, the household boards, admin tools.
  • tenant_anon — lets you start a to-do, weather, trip, or countdown board before signing in. It clears itself once you claim that board with an account.
  • graphmy_user_id — remembers your GraphMy workspace and credit balance across visits.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4, only when I've turned it on from the add-ons marketplace. It's the one cookie the banner actually controls: choose "Essential only" and the GA tag never loads, on this visit or the next.

Cookie-free

Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Plausible (when connected) all measure traffic without setting a persistent cookie. Nothing to opt out of here.

Payments

Checkout on Hire and GraphMy is handled by Stripe. Stripe's own checkout page may set its own cookies under its domain; that's between you and Stripe, governed by their privacy policy, not something this site controls.

Your choice

The banner on your first visit asked you to accept all cookies or essential only. Change your mind any time: this re-opens it, and the choice takes effect immediately.
