The Legibility Desk

A critical-analysis show that checks itself.

Short, cited critiques of how public thinkers explain complex systems. Every verdict on the page is sourced and drift-guarded, and where a claim is computable you can re-run the number in your own browser. It opens by auditing its own house.

How this show checks itself

Every episode publishes a mandatory steelman, scores the claim on the 3-axis Legibility Index (v1.0) with cited evidence, and logs receipts you can re-run. Computable figures re-derive live in your browser and in CI; sourced figures fail the build if they drift. Read the charter for the rubric, the conflict-of-interest firewall, and the "when not to make an episode" test.

We audit our own house first

Before this show grades anyone else, it grades the host. Here is our own 'legibility gap' thesis on the same rubric, with the receipts you can re-run.
